Flushing, Queens Gets a Shot in the Arm

NEW YORK CITY—The area’s downtown corridor is now slated to get a sprawling mixed-use development that will feature retail, office, residential and hotel space.

Tangram Tangram, a 1.2-million-square-foot project in Flushing, Queens, will feature retail, office, residential and hotel space.

NEW YORK CITY—Developers F&T Group and SCG America have revealed plans to bring a sizeable mixed-use complex to Queens, in the Downtown section of Flushing.

The 1.2-million-square-foot development, named Tangram, will feature retail, office, residential and hotel space. Construction is underway at the full-block site, with frontage on 37th Avenue, Prince Street, 39th Avenue and College Point Boulevard. Retail will be delivered first, with an expected 3Q 2018 opening.
