Project Bridges Gap to Include Education, Healthcare Centers

FORT WORTH—Phase I of Renaissance Heights Apartments in the Columbia Renaissance Square development is now complete, according to KWA Construction, general contractor. The nearly $17 million three-story mixed-income apartment community introduces several residential elements. The project seeks to bridge the poverty gap by putting education centers, healthcare facilities and green spaces in close proximity to its low-income residents.

As a result of the strategic location of many programs and facilities, children living within the 200-acre site at Columbia at Renaissance Square will have access to high-quality housing, and many other programs and facilities that support health, well-being and academic readiness. To date, more than $125 million has been invested in the site, including 330,000 square feet of retail space, allowing resident access to a grocery store and other retail/commercial entities, GlobeSt.com learns.
