Thought Leader: Tony Liou

Executive Bio
As president, Mr. Liou, MBA, is responsible for all operations and sales for Partner Energy. Mr. Liou began his career as an aerospace engineer with Northrop Grumman. He later worked for Siemens Building Technologies where he was responsible for customer acquisitions, engineering design, and estimating for building automation and controls, fire-life safety and security systems. After Siemens, Mr. Liou worked as an account executive for Ensim Corporation, a start-up internet web and application hosting organization. After graduating from business school, Mr. Liou worked as a senior associate director for Hanover Financial Company, a west coast private-equity firm that provided joint-venture equity capital for acquisition and development commercial real estate projects. Mr. Liou was responsible for the acquisition and underwriting of real estate assets and development opportunities valued at over $400 million. Prior to founding Partner Energy, Mr. Liou was a sales and marketing manager for a local energy services company. Mr. Liou has been a guest speaker on energy efficiency topics at industry events. Recently he has spoken at: Urban Land Institute (ULI) FutureBuild LA, October 2009; International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) RetailGreen Conference & Trade Exposition, October 2009; Environmental Bankers Association (EBA) Conference, San Diego, CA, January 2010; BOMA GLA Meeting on AB 1103 and Energy Star in California, Los Angeles, CA January 2010.
