I must say that I am very impressed with President-elect Obama’s organization, discipline, transition management, and early critical cabinet appointments. In the midst of one of the most significant financial crises since the 1930’s, we need carefully architected and decisive action on a number of fronts, and the early returns on Obama are quite positive. With Citibank on the brink of failure, and needing a second bailout--despite recently trying to acquire Wachovia--it’s not a moment too soon that we usher in the new administration and desperately needed stability. I’m optimistic that the tide is going to turn soon. On that note, I’ll wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving holiday.
