EL DORADO, KS-Butler Community College is enlarging its student-housing options in El Dorado. The school is planning to construct a $9.2-million student apartment complex consisting of 192 beds near K-254 and Haverhill Road.
The site will also have a new sports complex that will be used by the El Dorado school district and the college. The student housing project, which spans 72,666 square feet, will have two- and four-bedroom units and other amenities. Iowa-based Oxbow Development Corp. is the developer.
