THE COLONY, TX-Nebraska Furniture Mart has bought four tracts of land in The Colony for a mixed-use development. The 433-acre land is located east of Plano Pkwy. and south of State Highway 121.

A $1.5-billion, mixed-use project will be developed on the land. Nebraska Furniture Mart will anchor 1.8 million square feet in the development for a retail and distribution center. Maharishi Global Development Fund has sold the largest of the four land tracts. Dallas-based Venture Commercial Real Estate brokered the deal. For the full story, go to Dallas Business Journal .
