Piedmont Expands Occupancy Rate at The Medici Building

ATLANTA-Piedmont Office Realty Trust has increased the occupancy rate at The Medici building in Atlanta from 15% to nearly 29%. The REIT purchased the six-story building in a foreclosure auction six months ago for $13.2 million.
In the past months, Piedmont leased 14,683 square feet to Medicraft for 11 years and 8,753 square feet to Higher One for over 10 years. Medicraft was represented by CBRE Inc. and Higher One was represented by CresaPartners, while Cassidy Turley represented the landlord in both deals.
