BOSTON-Washington, DC-based Georgetown Cupcake is opening a new store in Boston. Founders Sophie LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis have leased 3,800 square feet of space at 83 Newbury St.
The sisters are also preparing to open stores in the SoHo district of New York City. They started their first store more than three years ago. The new Boston bake shop is scheduled to open next spring. For the full story, go to Boston Business Journal .
