Modern Silicone Acquires Pinellas Park Property

PINELLAS PARK, FL-Modern Silicone Technologies has purchased the old Expo Center property in Pinellas Park for an amount of $3.5 million. The 13-acre site, previously inherited by Frito-Lay, contains a manufacturing facility measuring 123,000 square feet.
Modern Silicone Technologies is planning to combine its Chicago and West Virginia facilities and Clearwater headquarters into the new plant. The total cost of the company's relocation to Pinellas Park is approximated at $13.5 million. For the full story, go to Tampa Bay Business Journal .
