HONOLULU-A&B Properties Inc., an affiliate of Alexander & Baldwin Inc., has bought a 4.35-acre parcel in the Gateway at Mililani Mauka Shopping Center complex for $8.2 million. The parcel, which comprises four acres of land and a 5,880-square-foot retail building, was sold by Castle & Cooke Properties.

The Honolulu-based company is planning to develop a retail space measuring 28,000 square feet on the remaining plot. The Gateway retail center is currently anchored by a McDonald's eatery and Tesoro gas station. For the full story, go to Pacific Business News .
