ALAMEDA, CA-Minneapolis-based Target Corp. is planning to open a new store on Alameda Island. The Alameda Landing developer is about to get approval for a retail project on the island situated on the other side of the bay from San Francisco.
The 291,000-square-foot project will include a 140,000-square-foot store for Target. The new store will be opened by October 2013. Target also has plans to construct two new stores in San Francisco. For the full story, go to Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal .
