ATLANTA-Bank of America Plaza, a 55-story tower in Atlanta, will be sold on Tuesday at an open auction. Los Angeles-based BentleyForbes bought the 1.25-million-square-foot building in 2006 from Cousins Properties Inc. and Bank of America Corp. for $436 million.

Since the owner missed mortgage payments, the $363-million loan on the skyscraper became delinquent in December. Special servicer LNR Partners was handling the loan. Bank of America Plaza is situated between the Midtown and downtown areas of Atlanta. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business .
