MILWAUKEE-Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is planning to close its West Brown Deer Road store near North 76th Street. A city of Milwaukee spokesman stated that the company will replace the North 76th Street store with a large one in the Timmerman Plaza.

Wal-Mart is building a store measuring 150,000 square feet at 10316 W. Silver Spring Drive through Gatlin Development Co. Inc.
