SANTA CRUZ, CA-An empty Borders store in Santa Cruz will soon be occupied by a new tenant. Los Angeles-based Forever 21 will occupy 20,000 square feet of space at the corner of Pacific and Soquel avenues in downtown Santa Cruz.

The specialty retailer is expecting to open the store in August. The property is owned by Redtree Properties. Newmark Knight Frank's Neal Berkowitz and The Zall Co.'s Stuart Zall negotiated the deal on behalf of Redtree. For the full story, go to Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal .
