SALEM, OR-Government Properties Income Trust has purchased the Capitol City Business Center, a 233,135-square-foot office complex at 4600 25th Ave. in Salem, for $30.9 million. The Boston-based REIT has bought the complex from a joint venture of Angelo, Gordon & Co. and Meriwether Partners LLC.

The Capitol City Business Center was built in 1977 and refurbished in 2007. Jones Lang LaSalle's Aaron Herter, Buzz Ellis, Mike Seifer and Paige Morgan negotiated the deal on behalf of the seller. For the full story, go to Portland Business Journal .
