SAN JOSE, CA-Federal Realty Investment Trust has started construction on a new apartment complex at Santana Row in San Jose. The new apartment community, designed by Ankrom Moisan Associated Architects of Portland, will comprise 212 studio, single- and double-bedroom apartments.

After completion, Santana Row, a 1.5-million-square-foot development, will comprise 834 residences. The development also contains 70 retail stores, over two dozen restaurants, a six-screen movie theatre and a 213-room boutique hotel.
