HOUSTON-The Texaco building at 1111 Rusk in downtown Houston will be converted into luxury apartments. A Dallas developer is utilizing $14 million in public funds for the redevelopment.

On February 14, Provident Realty Advisors outlined final details of the proposed project to the Downtown Redevelopment Authority. The company said that the redevelopment will cost $82 million and that it has arranged financing for the project. The first phase of the development will include 270 apartments.
