Home Depot to Get New Distribution Center in Joliet

JOLIET, IL-Atlanta-based Home Depot Inc. is planning to develop a build-to-suit distribution center in Joliet. The 1.6-million-square-foot facility will be built on a site of approximately 88 acres next to the company's 657,600-square-foot warehouse at the CenterPoint Intermodal Center.
Home Depot has inked a long-term lease with CenterPoint Properties Trust for the new facility, which is scheduled to be completed in summer 2013. Colliers International brokered the deal for Home Depot and Oakbrook Terrace-based NAI Hiffman brokered for the landlord. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
