Former Vocational School in Worcester to Become Voke Lofts

WORCESTER, MA-A former vocational school in Worcester will be converted into a mixed-income development. The old Worcester Vocational High School will be redeveloped into the Voke Lofts.
The project will comprise 84 apartment units and construction is expected to start early next year. Boston-based WinnDevelopment has a contract to purchase the school from the Worcester Business Development Corp. for $1.7 million. Voke Lofts will have energy efficient features and will include a resident lounge, laundry, management offices and a fitness room. For the full story, go to Boston Business Journal .
