TechCore Picks Up 1600 Technology Drive from EOP
SAN JOSE, CA-A CalPERS-backed equity fund has purchased an eight-story office building near the San Jose airport. TechCore LLC, a fund controlled by Menlo Park's GI Partners, picked up 1600 Technology Drive from Equity Office Properties.
The 198,033-square-foot office tower is fully leased to Atmel Corp. for 10 years. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. But sources familiar with the transaction stated that TechCore paid $79.2 million, or about $400 per square foot, for the building.
