Westfield North County Mall Renovation Underway

ESCONDIDO, CA-Architectural Record magazine reported that a $55-million expansion and renovation of Westfield North County, a shopping mall in Escondido, was among the five retail projects to break ground during Q1 2012. The renovations of the southern Escondido mall, formerly known as North County Fair, include upgrading the food court and including two full-service eateries.
The 125-store mall is also resurfacing parking lots and adding a play area for children. The project will be completed for the holiday shopping season. For the full story, go to The North County Times .
