Investment Venture Makes Maiden Acquisition in LoDo
DENVER-An investment venture that includes The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, Allstate Insurance Co. and Lowe Enterprises Investors has made its first acquisition in Denver's LoDo. The venture acquired Alamo Plaza, a 16-story, 191,150-square-foot office building at 1401 17th St., from Dallas-based Behringer Harvard.
Terms of the deal not revealed, but two sources put the sales price at about $55 to $57 million, or $290-$300 per square foot. Jones Lang LaSalle represented the seller in the deal. For the full story, go to Denver Business Journal .
