WASHINGTON, DC-The National Retail Federation has inked a 31,000-square-foot lease at a 12-story building situated at 1101 New York Ave. NW to house its national headquarters. The retail federation is planning to shift its headquarters from 325 Seventh St. NW to the new location in spring 2014.
In the lease, Cushman & Wakefield Inc. represented the landlord, Property Group Partners, which suffered a setback when Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP vacated a 140,000-square-foot space following its bankruptcy filing in early 2012. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
