Whole Foods Market to Open 40,000-SF Store in South Hills

PITTSBURGH-Austin, Texas-based Whole Foods Market has finally signed a lease deal for a store in the South Hills. The organic grocery will open a 40,000-square-foot store on Fort Couch and Washington roads in Upper St. Clair. KGA Partners, LLC, headed by Hal Kestler, is redeveloping the two-story office building, which earlier housed Consol Energy Inc., into a new store with 222 parking spaces.
The development is owned by 1800 Washington Road Associates. The new store is expected to be opened in fall 2015. For the full story, go to Pittsburgh Business Times .
