WASHINGTON, DC-Capella Hotels and Resorts, a hotel brand headed by Horst Schulze, will open a new hotel in Georgetown in January. The Capella Washington, DC will comprise 49 rooms, a rooftop pool and bar and a restaurant and lounge. Castleton Holdings is carrying out a $45-million renovation of the old American Trial Lawyers Association building to accommodate the new hotel.
Castleton Holdings, founded by Schulze, bought the facility at 1050 31st St. NW for $18.3 million from the Trial Lawyers Association. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
