Capital Senior Living Makes First Acquisition in Columbus
COLUMBUS, OH-Capital Senior Living Corp. has made its first acquisition in Columbus. The Dallas-based operator of senior housing communities has paid $2.3 million for Woodlands of Columbus, a 90-unit senior apartment complex. The deal is part of a $73-million acquisition of eight independent and assisted living complexes Capital Senior purchased from Diederick van der Velde.
Other senior apartment complexes in the deal are located in Indiana and Texas. Van der Velde purchased Woodlands of Columbus in 2008 for $6.5 million. For the full story, go to Columbus Business First .
