SL Green Picks Kohn Pedersen to Design Midtown Office Building

NEW YORK CITY-SL Green Realty Corp. has chosen Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, a New York-based architecture firm, to design a huge office building beside Grand Central Terminal. The SL Green project is planned on block between 42nd and 43rd streets.
If the proposed plan gets approval, SL Green will build a skyscraper measuring approximately 1.4 million square feet. The company has also hired Texas-based Hines, Vishaan Chakrabarti and Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP as consultants for the office project.
