BIRMINGHAM, AL-Rosemont Capital Group has purchased the fifth largest office tower in Birmingham following its acquisition of the previous owner of the building. The real estate firm based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is moving One Federal Place, a 10-story office tower, to a different fund after purchasing the BGK Investment Group, the former owner of the building, in 2010.
BKG purchased the 300,012-square-foot building from a joint venture of Atlanta-based Barry Real Estate Cos. and Sloss Real Estate Group Inc. in 2005. For the full story, go to Birmingham Business Journal .
