BIRMINGHAM, AL-A Pelham-based hotelier is seeking a site plan approval from the Birmingham Design Review Committee for a $15-million hotel project on 20th Street South in Five Points South. Rakesh Patel from AUM Enterprises Inc. said that construction on a new Homewood Suites could start in March.
The seven-story hotel will replace the old Five Points Music Hall. AUM Enterprises is managing the hotel project on behalf of an undisclosed owner. For the full story, go to Birmingham Business Journal .
