TEANECK, NJ-Even though a flood of distressed assets should technically be hitting the market soon, the process is “frozen in motion” because banks don’t want to take losses, the CMBS market was very complex and special servicers are limited in ways they can handle distress, said Hessam Nadji, managing director of research services for Marcus & Millichap.
