GlobeSt.TV: L.A. Multifamily O.K. Despite Unemployment

Kitty Wallace, senior vice president of Sperry Van Ness, talks about the Southern California multifamily market at RealShare Apartments 2009. Watch the full video on GlobeSt.TV.
LOS ANGELES-The multifamily market in this metropolitan area is performing well despite major unemployment statewide due to Los Angeles County’s broad job base, said Kitty Wallace, a senior vice president of Sperry Van Ness. Not only that, but Los Angeles has a broader base of buyers than other parts of Southern California, she said.

“We have investors from major markets who want to come here,” Wallace said at the RealShare Apartments 2009 conference in an interview with GlobeSt.com editor Ian Ritter. To view the full exchange, click the link below.
