RALEIGH, NC-According to RealtyTrac Inc., there was an increase in the foreclosure activity in the Raleigh-Cary metropolitan statistical area in the first half of the 2010 (1H10). The foreclosure activity rose by 49% in 1H10 when compared to the 1H09, but was down 5% when compared to that of 2H09.

In the Durham MSA, the foreclosure activity dropped by 3% in 1H10 when compared to 1H09, but was up 26% in comparison to that of 2H09. For the full story, go to Houston Business Journal.
