NEW YORK CITY-The Boro Park Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is purchasing the Jewish Geriatric Center, a not-for-profit 354-bed nursing home at 4915 10th Ave. in Brooklyn, for $60 million.
The Boro Park Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is a for-profit healthcare and rehabilitation center. The nursing home will lay off about 506 employees subsequent to the completion of the purchase.
