MEMPHIS-Urban Outfitters Inc, a Philadelphia-based apparel retail chain, is in talk to lease a former antique mall building measuring 13,816 square feet at 742 S.Cooper to house one of its name-brand stores.

Urban Outfitters also considered Highland Row, a mixed-used development located close to the University of Memphis campus. The Highland Row development will be completed by developer Poag & McEwen by 2012. The McDevitt Co. represented Urban Outfitters in the leasing transaction.
