NEW YORK CITY-Fairway Market is planning to open a new unit in the Upper East Side at 240 East 86th Street by fall 2011. It has inked a long-term lease for 45,263 square feet at the former Barnes & Noble location.

This new store will be bigger in size compared to its flagship store at Broadway and 74th Street. Ariel Schuster, Izzy Anthony, and Gary Alterman of Robert K. Futterman, represented Ventura in Manhattan Inc., the owner of the building. For the full story, go to New York Observer.
