DALLAS-T. Boone Pickens, a Dallas philanthropist, is contributing $18 million to construct the estimated $48 million hospice center in Dallas. The 116,000 square-foot hospice center at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas named T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center will care for patients with life-threatening illnesses.
The hospice center will also have an inpatient unit comprising 36 rooms, a training and resource center, an outdoor meditative environment, a child and family bereavement center and a chapel. For the full story, go to Dallas Morning News.
