DENVER-On Wednesday, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center is formally opening its $128 million expansion in Denver. According to a media report, the facility, which measures 160,000 square feet, has 53 beds with pediatric emergency department staff providing full services for 24 hours.

The new extension, which is situated at 19th and High streets, also includes six pediatric specialty operating rooms and a pediatric diagnostic imaging room. A portion of the four-story hospital started functioning last week. For the full story, go to Denver Post.
