Home Depot rendering

LODI, CA-Home Depot has been added to the Reynolds Ranch development in Lodi, CA. Reynolds Ranch is a 450,000-square-foot mixed-use center being developed by San Joaquin Valley Land Co. and is owned by Skinner Ranch Holdings.

The Home Depot deal was brokered by Jason Gallelli of Colliers International Roseville. Colliers tells GlobeSt.com that the total cost of construction isn’t available at this time.

The Home Depot location at Reynolds Ranch will employ up to 150 people. It will be a 134,240-square-foot store, including a 28,086-square-foot Garden Center, and is expected to open first quarter 2012. The Lodi Planning Commission reviewed and approved the application for the development and Home Depot in May 2010.

The project plans for Reynolds Ranch encompass five major retailers 18,000 square feet or larger. Plans include a drugstore, a restaurant, two banks and nine smaller shops at Harney Lane and Highway 99. In addition to the retail center, Reynolds Ranch is home to Blue Shield of California’s call and claims center, which employs over 1,000 people. It opened in 2008.

The Home Depot joins Costco as a recently-signed anchor retailer for the center. The Lodi Planning Commission approved Costco's applications in February 2010. Costco is scheduled to open this summer.

“We are delighted to welcome Home Depot to Lodi and Reynolds Ranch,” says Lodi Mayor Bob Johnson. “This new neighbor will create new jobs and will generate needed revenue for our community. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”

According to San Joaquin Valley Land Co. partner Dale Gillespie, “Home Depot is a match for the community of Lodi as well as the Reynolds Ranch development. The employment it’s creating, the merchandise and services it’s offering--it’s a win-win for all parties involved.”
