EVANSTON, IL-Wakefield, Massachusetts-based Franklin Street Properties is expected to close the acquisition of an office building in downtown Evanston. According to a person familiar with the deal, the six-story office building at 909 Davis St. is slated to sell for nearly $35 million or about $180 per square foot.
A German real estate fund instructed by New York-based Real Estate Capital Partners LP purchased the building in 2003 for $34.2 million. Chicago-based Jones Lang LaSalle Inc.'s James Postweiler is representing the vender. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
