Kennedy Center Cancels $650M Expansion Plan

WASHINGTON, DC-The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will not undergo a 402,000-sf expansion as has been planned for the last several years, due to Congress' elimination of an intended allotment of $400 million to help develop the $650-million project. Congress omitted the funding allocation from the recently passed transportation bill.
