GlobeSt.com UPDATE: Eminent Domain Ruling Paves Way for $120M Redevelopment

DAYTONA BEACH, FL-State Court Judge John W. Watson III rules the city may seize three beachfront businesses that are blocking a 24-year-old city plan to redevelop the 73-year-old decaying boardwalk area. The Aug. 19 ruling gives Los Angeles-based Carlsberg Management Co. the green light on the mixed-use project, as GlobeSt.com previously reported.
