GlobeSt.com UPDATE: BRAC Starts Voting on Base Closures

WASHINGTON, DC-On this first day of voting on base closure, the commission selects to keep the Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT and the Portsmouth (NH) Naval Shipyard open. The closure of Fort Monmouth in New Jersey was approved.
