AFL-CIO Trusts Launch $500M Housing Effort

NEW YORK CITY-A pair of trusts run by the AFL-CIO complete the first phase of an affordable-housing and economic-development strategy a year ahead of schedule. They launch a $500-million second phase that will focus on financing and rehabilitating housing and commercial development.
