ORLANDO-The unprecedented surge comprises at least 7,522 rooms at six locations surrounding the Orange County Convention Center on International Drive. Currently only about 2,000 luxury-caliber hotel rooms exist on the tourist-themed strip, according to new GlobeSt.com research.
