Anthony LoPinto Anthony LoPinto

When I was a kid I grew up watching the Evening News on CBS with anchor Walter Cronkite. Millennials may not know who Walter is, but the Baby-Boom Generation sure does, and we fondly recall Walter’s honest, fatherly demeanor, and fair center of the road reporting of the news.

Alas, Walter is long gone and replaced by edgy, leftists, rightists, and consistently biased reporting of the “news” that we are barraged with every minute of the day. Yesterday President-Elect Trump met with most of the media giants and anchor reporters to complain about their coverage of him before and now after his election. I am not taking any side on this one, other than to suggest that we are in for a significant step-up in the rhetoric dished out by the politicians and spun to a fare thee well by the media.

Where is Walter when we need him!
