Mortenson Construction Stays in Suburbs

CHICAGO—Mortenson Construction has outgrown its current suburban Elk Grove Village location, where its employees occupy three different suites in one building, and will relocate its IL headquarters on October 3 into larger office space at 300 Park Blvd. in nearby Itasca. The national builder’s move will consolidate its operations into a single space that will allow for continued growth and more collaborative ways of working.

Of Mortenson’s 200 Chicago professional and craft employees, about 50 executives and support team members, including those in accounting, marketing, human resources and benefits, will occupy the new office full-time. Mortenson’s project teams locate full-time at their job sites. However, Mortenson has built out the space with workstations that project engineers, superintendents and other field employees can use when they do come into the office.
