ULI luncheon event During the luncheon, Tillquist said, “Sometimes the City focuses on sales-tax revenue, which is important, but if we looked at it from that perspective, we’d be missing the point.”

SAN DIEGO—Without the collaborative support of the City of San Diego and local commercial real estate professionals, iboss Cybersecurity’s 43,000-square-foot space couldn’t have been built, the City’s director of state government affairs and innovation policy Kristin Tillquist told attendees at a recent ULI luncheon event here. The event, hosted by the Urban Land Institute San Diego—Tijuana Council, revealed that iboss has received nearly 300% more inbound job applicants since it opened its new corporate headquarters at 4110 Campus Point Ct., located within blocks of UC San Diego.

“iboss is helping our cybersecurity industry be successful … and helping grow our innovation economy,” said Tillquist. “Sometimes the City focuses on sales-tax revenue, which is important, but if we looked at it from that perspective, we’d be missing the point.”
