IRVINE, CA—In a move that Colliers International is calling one of the most important in its Western region this year, a leading Capital Markets team led by industry veteran Robert Stamm will join the firm and assume a leading position in the firm’s Institutional Investment Division. The recruitment is part of a continued effort at Colliers to expand its Western presence by hiring experienced capital markets pros.

This is the second strategic addition in the past month for Colliers. Last month, senior Capital Markets advisor Michael Roberts and his team joined the firm in San Diego as a Managing Director focusing on institutional owners of office and R&D properties throughout the West.

Stamm, who assumes the title of executive managing director, and his team, are leaving Savills Studley to join Colliers. They are accomplished leaders in providing investment advisory services to major international institutions and overseeing cross-border investments in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Mexico. In addition to managing the team, Stamm will become the co-leader of Colliers’ National Institutional Investment Division, focusing primarily on business development and recruitment.

Other key executives joining Colliers include Steven Ward and Andres Roldan, who will be based in firm’s Irvine office and Brandon McMenomy, who will be based in the firm’s New York City offices.  All join Colliers as senior directors and will continue to work with Stamm to leverage opportunities nationally and globally.

In a related move, Brian Corrigan, a debt & equity expert whose experience encompasses finance, mortgage banking, placement of structured debt, and counsel to public and private real estate operating companies in the capital markets arena, has been named a senior managing director. Corrigan joined the Capital Markets team led by Stamm last year.

“One of our strategic goals in Colliers’ Western Region has been to recruit top talent in all commercial real estate categories, but particularly in the specialized realm of Institutional Investments, better known as Capital Markets,” said Pupil. “It’s no secret that institutional investment in, and ownership of, commercial real estate has risen considerably since the great recession and with these additions, Colliers is now clearly one of the top-tier providers globally in this segment.”

Stamm, Corrigan and Roberts join the well-accomplished existing Colliers International Capital Markets platform, including industry leaders Rick Putnam and Bret Hardy, who both serve as managing directors in the firm’s Western region.
