OAKBROOK, IL-Continuing its strategy to sell non-core, non-strategic assets, Retail Properties of America Inc. sold three Texas retail properties to Westwood Financial Corp. in Los Angeles. The REIT sold South Towne Crossing, Lake Forest Crossing and McDermott Towne Crossing; all of which are in North Texas and all of which offer plenty of upside from the leasing point of view.

South Towne Crossing is a 59,986 square foot shopping center on NW John Jones Drive (Farm-to-Market 731) at SE Wilshire Boulevard in Burleson, TX. The Target and Home Depot shadow-anchored center is 87% leased.
