ATLANTIC CITY, NJ-Resorts Casino Hotel has ended a more than two-year dispute with its major casino workers union Local 54 of the Unite-Here union, the Associated Press reports.

The deal was signed off in late December, but wasn’t announced until recently. Resorts spokesman Courtney Birmingham says the deal “has terms and conditions essentially the same as those reached by other Atlantic City casinos.”

The contract was ratified by the union membership on Dec. 21, the wire service reports. During the dispute, members of Local 54 picketed on the Boardwalk and waged a campaign to have other labor unions cancel their conventions booked at Resorts. See story in The Star Ledger.
